Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams, James Bolt and “Sonny’ Williams were Sunday visitors of Jerry Williams in Halifax. The official board of Willis Chapel Methodist Church met last Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey North. Others present were Dennis Williams, Eddie Fox, Mrs. LeMerle Williams, Mrs. Evelyn Mills, Mrs. Sally Casein, Mrs. Hallman and the Rev. Edward Pruitt. Mrs. Haywood Williams and Mrs. Horace Dulin were cohostesses at a joint birthday dinner in honor of their husbands Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dulin. There were approximately 20 present.
