The Board approved an application for Federal Funds to conduct a summer preschool program for children who will enter the first grade in September 1Q68 and a preventative and developmental reading program for grades one through six. Two hundred to two hundred forty children are anticipated to participate in these programs. It is anticipated to conduct the summer program in the new building. A resolution requesting approval for the sale of abandoned school buildings was approved.
