Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Thom as of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend at their country home. Mrs. Francis Updike of Radford College was a Thursday overnight guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and left from National Airport on Friday for a visit with her husband, Airman Updike in Amarillo, Texas and returned to Radford on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Brown of Culpeper and Mrs. Catherine Brown were overnight guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne in Alexandria. On SuhdayMrs. Brown visited her father George Atkins in Luray. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Warren and daughter Catherine returned to their home in Charlotte, N. C. after a visit with Mrs. Warren’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Other guests during the weekend at “Intervale* were Rapley Owens of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Williamson of Blacksburg and Airman David Lyne of Patuxent Naval Base.
Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cloe, Jr. and son William Weed on III of Stafford were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar. Mrs. Cloe and son remained for a week’s visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brown and daughter Sherri were guests on Saturday of Mr. and
