Hallowe’en Parties The Flint Hill Methodist Church will sponsor a children’s Hallowe’en Party Thursday, (tonight) at the Fire Hall in Flint Hill, starting at 7 o’clock. All children in the community are invited. Parents and friends are invited to stay and help with the games, refreshments, etc. TTiis event is planned in an-effort "to provide wholesome recreation and fun for the children in safety, away from the main highway and side streets. A pleasant evening is planned - so come! A Hallowe’en party will be held Friday at the Forest Grove school ! house. Festivities begin at 8 p.m. | and everyone is welcomed. The I party is sponsored by the Forest Grove Baptist Church. The Rappahannock Jaycees will sponsor a Hallowe’en Party tonight, Oct. 31, at the Sperryville Fire House frorn 7 to 11 p.m. There will be games, refreshments and prizes. Admission, 20 cents. Children up to 12 years old may come in costume. The Chester Gap Homemakers Club will sponsor a Hallowe’en Party for all the children of the , vicinity at the Fire Hall, Thursday ! (tonight) beginning at 7 p.m.

| Minor Wrecks Reported ■ Bobby Lynn Corbin of Front 1 Royal was charged with failing to ■ maintain control of his vehicle after he crashed on Route 522 north of Huntly last Wednesday. ’ Corbin was operating a 63 Pontiac when he ran off the right of the road and struck a tree. Damage to the car was estimated at $300. On Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m. on Route 522 east of Sperryville Sherman Armstrong Slaughter of Reva was involved in a single-car crash. Slaughter was operating a 64 Chevrolet convertible which ran off the left of the road and down a bank. He was charged with failing to drive to the right of the road. Estimated damage to his car was $300. Trooper W. A. Buntin was the investigating officer in both crashes.
