The other day I had the pleasure of conversing with a gentleman from Alabama. He was a personal friend of a certain political aspirant from that state. He also stated that said friend was a Christian gentleman, honest and true to his word.
As previously stated, I know very little of the political situation. However, if we must have a third party to bring about desired conditions, having a Christian gentleman in office would be an asset. Could we control civil disobedience? He could try. Has our present administration?
In I Peter 2:13 we find these words, “Submit to all human authority, for the Master’s sake.” If this human authority is so vascillating it can not carry out divine decrees; to punish those who do wrong, then we should elect someone with back bone enough to carry out the mandates of God and of our people.
