Mrs. T. J. Pillar returned home on Sunday after a week’s visit with her brother-in-law and sister Mr. and Mrs. Harry Love in Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Jacobs and son Ricky of Warrenton were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and Freddie. Mrs. Randolph Towne of Burlington, Vermont spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne. Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis of Front Royal were luncheon guests on Monday of Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Menefee. Robert Brown has returned to Raleigh, N. C. after visiting his sister, Mrs. E. W. Gore at “Barlow”.

Mrs. James F. Massie was hostess to the Flint Hill Bridge Club and additional guests Monday evening at her home Meadow Grove. Her guests were Mrs. L. B. Burford, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. Thomas B. Massie, Mrs. Paul Miller and the prize winners, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mrs. T. C. Lea and Mrs. T. L. Eastham.
