Mrs. T. M. Johnston spent Sunday in Charlottesville visiting Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner. Pvt. Sam Snead arrived last Thursday from Ft. Rucker, Ala., at the home of his parents, Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead. Pvt. Snead will report in San Francisco November 15 and leave there for duty in Vietnam. Mrs. Iva Singleton and Mrs. J. Wesley Severance of Zanesville, Ohio are visiting relatives and friends in the county this week.
Mrs. J. W. Paulson of Newport News spent from Friday until Monday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland. Sunday dinner guests in the Campbell home were Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Campbell of Wilmington, Fluvanna County, and Mrs. J. W. Wills of Palmyra.
Mr. and Mrs. William T. Doran left Tuesday for their home in Kansas City, Mo. after visiting their son-in-law and daughter Judge and Mrs. R. V. Snead and family.
Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Nightengale of Williamsburg were weekend guests of Mrs. H. M. Keyser.
Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller returned Monday morning from a visit of several days with their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Wood in Atlanta, Ga.
Mrs. C. B. Palmer visited her mother Mrs. J. A. Elmore Saturday in Alexandria.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Styer returned last Wednesday after a months stay at their home in Pass-A-Grille, Florida. Their overnight guest Monday was Mrs. Annie Brooks of Sanford, Maine.
