Attendants to the bride were her sister, Miss Jane Burt Kilby, as maid of honor; Miss Sharon Lee Bagby of Richmond, as bridesmaid; and her cousin, Miss Mary Moore Kilby of Sperryville; junior bridesmaid.
The maid of honor wore an ankle-length gown of antique gold crepe with matching mitts and a headpiece of net. The two other attendants wore dresses of identical Empire styling in a soft cranberry shade. Hiey carried bouquets of bronze and gold mums.
William La Fisca of Worthington, Pennsylvania, was best man and ushers were Walter B. Kilby of Richmond and Eric Lowry brothers of the bride and groom, respectively, and Larry Snyder of Templeton, Pennsylvania.
The mother of the bride wore a blue crepe dress and a felt hat of a complementary hue. Her flowers were a corsage of white glomelia. Mrs. Lowry chose a soft green dress of brocaded silk, beaded at the collar to match a silver lame’ hat. Her corsage was a creamy white orchid.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria.
When the Lowrys left on their wedding trip, Mrs. Lowry was wearing a red wool suit with the white orchid from her bridal bouquet. Urey will make their home in Kittanning, Pa.
