Deer, Bear Kill

Continues to Mount

According to a check of all game stations Tuesday, 57 deer and 2 bear have been reported since last week’s tally.

In Amissville George Kidwell, Jr. of Washington, Va. checked a 12 point buck and Thomas P. Kidwell of Castleton bagged an 8 point one. They are brothers and were hunting together near Washington and got their game within a short time and short distance of each other.

Ronald Chadwell of Huntly and Skip Chadwell of Newark, Ohio each ehecked a doe at the Chester Gap station. These deer were taken in Warren County on the last day of the season there.

At Flint Hill a 7 point buck was checked by Herman Good of Front Royal and James Smoot of Amissville checked an 11 point buck.

At Washington three deer were checked as follows: Steve Gore, Culpeper, 3 point buck; Ray Pullen, Washington, 5 pointer; Wayne Smoot, also Washington, 9 point buck.

The Sperryville checking station reports James Bailey of Rixeyville with an 8 point buck; Haywood Poles, Washington, 6 point; E. M. Ned Jones, Washington, 8 point; John A. Bowser, Arlington, 7 point.
