Robert Tnornhill and family of Vienna, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and family of Boston and Mr. and Mrs. Winfrey Thornhill and family of Manassas. The Winfrey Thornhills remained with Mr. Thornhill’s parents through Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. George A. Johnston were dinner guests on Thanksgiving Day of Mrs. Johnston’s brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Carter of Front Royal. They also visited Mrs. Johnston’s niece Mrs. Joyce Moyer and returned home Friday afternoon.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Butler, Sr. were Mrs. George Butler, Jr. and her niece Miss Judy Pillar of Culpeper.
Leonard Butler of Washington, D. C. was a weekend guest of J. B. Burke.
Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Bennett and children of Alexandria had as their guests Thanksgiving Day Mrs. Bennett’s parents and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Burke and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Weaver. Mrs. Bennett and sons were weekend guests of the Burkes at Boston. Tony Bennett remained with his grandparents for the week.

Mrs. Russell Settle for the past five years, went to Charleston, W. Va. to spend the holidays with his mother Mrs. Emmeline Hensley. He will return here December 9 for induction in the Armed Forces.
