Recent overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Alfred were Mrs. Alfred’s niece Mrs. William Vermillion and Mr. Vermillion of White Plains, Md.
Mrs. Claude Gaines spent Wednesday to Sunday in Madison, caring for Mrs. Glenn Gaines who recently returned home from the University of Virginia Hospital. Bill Gaines of Falls Church was a Monday guest of his parents, the Gaines. Recent Sunday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gaines of Silver Spring, Md. and Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines of Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy were in Charlottesville on Wednesday. Mr. Kennedy reported for a checkup at the University of Virginia Hospital. Their Sunday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. John F. Coates and Mrs. James Minnis and son Chris of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy of Slate Mills.
Mrs. Evelyn Holloway of Washington, D. C. who has been staying with his sister Mrs. Brice Biggers, entered Culpeper Memorial Hospital Wednesday of last week.
Mrs. Ann Kilby of Culpeper spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thornhill and Mrs. Vinda Kilby.
