Co-op Day Friday at Rappahannock Store
Co-Op Day will be held Friday, December 20 at Rappahannock Farmers’ Cooperative in Sperryville. At this time 1954 Patronage Refund Certificates will be redeemed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Over $35,000 will be returned to holders of the 1954 certificates from the Co-Ops associated with the parent plant in Culpeper and associated stores which includes Rappahannock.
Free refreshments will be served and many specials will be featured at the store. encompass the area within a three-mile radius of Amissville.
Decorations will be judged on originality and beauty and it was thought that emphasis should be on native shrubs and greens rathei than just commercialized decoration.
