Adult Classes Begin
At RCHS in Jan.
Adult classes in furniture repair and refinishing, wood carving and welding will be offered at Rappahannock County High School beginning on January 23rd, 1969. Classes will be conducted on Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. • 9:00 p.m. and will conclude on March 27th.
The following class descriptions are offered:
1. Furniture Repair and Refinishing - This course consists of practical methods of repairing furniture and methods that may be used to re finish furniture.
2. Wood Carving • This course consists of the methods of wood carving, tooLs used, and Finishes applied to wood carvings.
3. Welding - Techniques and procedures of basic welding will be taught in this course. 'lime will be allotted to Oxyacetylene Welding and Cutting, Shielded metalic Arc Welding, Soldering, Carbon Arc Welding, Tungsten Inert Gas Welding and Spot Welding.
