A Christmas play and party will be held at the Amissville Baptist Church on Sunday evening, December 22 and will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Hie Rev. William A. Harrison announces that there will be a Christmas Service at the F. T. Baptist Church on Sunday, December 22 at 7 p.m. On Christmas Eve, December 24 at 7 p.m., services will be held at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville. Hie public is invited to attend both services.
A Christmas program will be presented at the Washington Baptist Church, Sunday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. under the direction of Mrs. Harold Scoggin and Karl Burke. Hie public is cordially invited.
Hie Methodist Churches will present pageants on Sunday, December 22. Flint Hill Church will present theirs at 6 p.m. Hie Sperryville Church’s Pageant will be presented at 7:30 p.m. and at 8 p.m. a program will be presented at Willis Chapel Methodist Church. All are welcome.
Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, Virginia will have its Christmas program on Sunday morning, December 22, beginning at 10:30. Sunday School and Church service will be combined. Hiere will be a short sermon geared particularly to the children and then the group will move to the Parish Hall for the Christmas tree and refreshments. Hie public is encouraged to come.
A Christmas Eve Holy Communion service will be held Tuesday, December 24 at Trinity Episcopal Church beginning at 1130 p.m. with the Rev. John Paul Carter of Hie Plains as celebrant.
