Once upon a time there was a 'rog who was supposed to be ;nchanted. TTiere was a rumor hat if a pretty girl kissed him the enchantment would be broken ind he’d become a charming irince. It finally came out that he vas only a frog who could talk, ind who enjoyed kissing pretty {iris. Pretty smart frog, eh? When I was coming up if a >retty girl kissed you it meant hat you were a special sort of ;uy. I would take-off and zoom iround a half a dozen or so, {alaxies before I could get my feet planted again on good old *rra firma. Them were the days, sub. I understand that current ^sculatory practices mean little more than a hand shake. I tell my wife that I use a chapstick to keep my lips soft and kissable. Actually, it is only useo to avoid the unpleasantness of chapped lips -1 tell myself disgustedly.
The point I am trying to make is this; do we deserve the love we receive. Love is truly a wonderful thing, aren’t we lucky to be able to enjoy its benefits, even in a small measure from our kind. The love we enjoy from our pets is a rewarding experience. But, when I think of the love of God I stand humble and amazed, what have I done to deserve such a blessing. He loves all of us. During this season let’s be more deserving.
