The Flint Hill fire company reported to a field fire Saturday on the Gavor Foster and Rasby Qaik property.
On Monday the Washington fire company went to a brush and yard fire at Wakefield Manor in Flint Hill.
The Amissville Fire Company responded to a field fire March 12 at the property of Jackson Swain. On the 14th of March the company answered a call to a woods fire at William Glascock’s property. March 15 the firemen extinguished a chimney fire at the home of Dutch Grigsby.
The Amissville Rescue Squad ,took Mrs. Charlotte Scott to Fauquier Hospital on March 13. On the 14th Mrs. Frank Walter was taken to Fauquier Hospital by the squad. Mrs. Willie Tharpe was taken to Fauquier Hospital on the 18th and the same day Douglas M. Wickham was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. March 19 Vivian Corder was taken to Fauquier Hospital and back home.
