Wood attended a bridal shower ?iven by Miss Nancy Saunders at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles launders of Culpeper, in honor of Miss Sallie Hamer of Norfolk. On her return home Mrs. Wood called on Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Burke, now of Culpeper, formerly of Woodville. Harold Brown of Winchester spent the weekend with his brother, Robert L. Brown.
Donald Foltz of Winston-Salem, N. C. was a guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clarke. On Sunday the Clarkes and their granddaughter Misty Lynn Hitt were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Collier Fox in Luray.
