Arts & Crafts Announce Ceramic Classes
A meeting of the Arts and Crafts group was held May 26 at Cab-Inn, Sperryville. The main project was a continuation of stenciling trays and other objects.
Announcement was made concerning summer classes in ceramics which will be taught by Mrs. Woodrow Bennett. Anyone interested should contact Mrs. Ruth Pillar, Sperryville.
The next meeting of the Arts and Crafts group is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9 with no particular craft emphasized. Some may wish to complete articles started in decoupage or stenciling or finish a chair caning or seating project. Take whatever you wish to ^ork on or complete.
Vacation Bible School Set At Washington
Vacation Bible School of the joint churches, Baptist, Episcopal, and Methodist, will be held June 15 through June 19 at the Washington Baptist Church under the supervision of the Rev. W. M. Hargett and the Rev. Jerry Campbell. Time: 9 to 11:30 a.m. All children ages 3 to 11 years are invited to attend.
Amissville Homemakers Meet Tonight
The regular meeting of the Amissville Homemakers Club will be held at the educational rooms of Amissville Baptist Church on Thursday, June 4 (tonight), beginning at 7:30 p.m. The program will be a demonstration on working with flowers and making corsages will be given by Mrs. Katherine Riley.
