Mrs. Thornton Semones returned to her home Thursday after being hospitalized in Culpeper for surgery. Her daughter, Mrs. Edward Hicklin of Gloucester, has been staying with Mr. Semones during her absence and will remain during her recuperation. Mr. Hicklin joined the family for the weekend and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Winters and children of Beltsville, Md. were also weekend guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Kidwell of Annandale were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Kidwell. W. G. Eastham with his daughter, Marion and newphew, George Massie of Washington, Va. attended the Rodeo Sunday in Marshall. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son, Billy entertained with a lawn picnic Saturday at their home, Locust Shade.
