Miss Miller Joins Peace Corps Work
Miss Elise Browning Miller, daughter of Dr. G. Tyler Miller, President of Madison College, Harrisonburg, received her A. B. degree from Westhampton College in June and will serve the next two years in the Peace Corps. She will leave June 28 for St. Croix, Virgin Islands and the first stage of her training. Final destination is the Bahia region of Brazil, one of the largest states and one of the poorest. Her work will be tackling community improvement among native tribesmen.
Miss Miller is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John J. Miller and niece of W. Arthur Miller of Washington, Va.
Gore-Partlow Reunion
