George W. DeMent, 28, of Allege Park, Md. died July 9, 1970 in George Washington Hospital. He was former resident of Sperryville, making his home for a short while with his brother Steve DeMent, who survives him. Other survivors include four children, Vee, Linda, Edward and Holly DeMent and his mother, Mrs. Viola Kuhn, all of College Park. He was the brother of Alona Wiedel, Cecilia Fielder, James and Steve DeMent.
A funeral service was held Monday from the College Park United Methodist Church and interment was in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
