Dear Editor:

I want to thank you and Mrs. Leslie Fox Keyser for the notice of the Retired Teacher’s Meeting held in my home.

The notice brought results in that I had phone calls and conversations from persons in the county who had retired from teaching positions elsewhere but are now living in Rappahannock. I was not aware of these persons. They are interested in organizing. I’ll be glad to hear from anyone desiring to help Rappahannock have an organization. As soon as I feel that I have heard further from others who may have been unknown to me, I will set another date for a “get-together.” I feel the organization is very worthwhile and can be made a social event for us to get together once in awhile.
