Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers accompanied their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers and two children of Stephens City to Jackson, S. C. last week where they spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Ridenour and children Faith Ann and Ricky of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, are visiting this week at the home of Mrs. Ridenour’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady.
Mrs. Ida Trump returned Sunday from the Warren Memorial Hospital and is now visiting her son Blois Trump and family in Alexandria.
Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. and Mrs. F. W. Spalding were weekend guests of Mrs. W. J. Kendrick, Jr. in Roanoke. On Sunday Mrs. Spalding became godmother to her great nephew David Albert Kendrick, Jr. who was baptized at the Green Memorial-Methodist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning entertained with two tables of bridge on Saturday night. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey and Mrs. Mary B.
