Region Officials
The Rappahannock Lions Club was visited by the District Governor of 24A, the Deputy District Governor of Region IV and the Zone Chairman at its meeting last Wednesday. They are Howard Pickard, Ray Cline and Paul Abernathy, respectively. The theme of the meeting, as set forth by the Governor and ' International president, was to re-emphasize “We Serve” and ‘Involvement Now,” to be of greater service to humanity. The Rappahannock Club is making plans for the annual apple md fruit cake sale. Club president D. C. Mitchell and secretary lames W. Coates attended the regional and zone meeting held September 13 in Warrenton.

Mrs. Joan Spence, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Lee of Flint Hill will be a Senior at Madison College. Mrs. J. W. Coates, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John P. Snead of Sperryville will attend Madison College.
Miss Janet Yates, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates of Sperryville will atte nc Shenandoah College in Winchester.
Miss Terry Kilby, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucio Kilby of Sperryville has returned to East Tennessee State University at Johnson City, Tenn.
Miss Jonita Carder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil E. Carder of Slate Mills has entered Sweet Briar College at Sweet Briar, Va.
Stewart Henry, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer E. Henry of Castleton will attend Potomac State College in Keyser, W. Va. as a freshman.
Miss Anna Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Lewis of Flint Hill will be a freshman at Hollins College. Thomas A. Lewis, jr. will return to Princeton University at Princeton, N. J.
