A Stork Shower was given Mrs. Michael Titchenell in the home of Mrs. W. B. Johnson Saturday night. Others present were Mrs. B. G. Titchenell, Mrs. Raymond Johnson, Mrs. Amos Butler, Mrs. James Falls, Mrs. H. B. Wood, Jr., Mrs. H. B. Wood, Sr., Mrs. Emory Conners, Mrs. Buster Hitt, Mrs. W. B. Johnson, Mrs. C. B. Johnson, Henry B. Wood, Sue Titchenell and Bridgett Brown. After the opening of gifts a social hour was enjoyed by all.
Mrs. Bradley Patterson of Alexandria is visiting in the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson. On Friday the Johnsons were hosts at dinner for the Rev. and Mrs. Cecil Carder who recently have returned from Thailand, at Graves Mountain Lodge, Syria.
Mr. and Mrs. James Falls and son Tim attended a family picnic at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Falls Sunday in Warrenton.
Larry Conners spent the weekend in New Jersey visiting friends. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Conners were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grizzle and son Jeff of Fredericksburg.
The Rev. B. G. Titchenell attended a Minister’s Conference Tuesday night at Haywood.
