I&E PROGRAM

The first Information and Entertainment Program for the season, given last Friday evening, started the series with a bang. One hundred and ten persons - and two dogs! welcomed Mrs. Jane Mcllvaine McClary’s stories of hunting experiences and reading from her new book “A Portion for Foxes” to be published by Simon & Schuster. Mr. Lawton A. Blankenbaker of Madison County was the winner in the fox horn blowing contest, with Mr. Jack Bruce of Sperryville runner-up. Many hounds in the Washington area added their voices to the sound of the horns.
