Matthew Owings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rapley Owings, celebrated his first birthday Thursday, November 11 with a party. Present were Mr. Owings sister Mrs. Lark Smith of Falls Church, Mrs. John Alexander of Flint Hill and Dabney Eastham of Huntly.

W.S.C.S. of Flint Hill United Methodist Church will meet Monday, November 22 at the home of Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. at 7:30 p.m.
