The young people of the Baptist Church will sponsor a trip to Mack’s Skating Rink at Front Royal, Monday evening, November 22. Those planning to attend are to meet at the church at 6 o’clock.
Mrs. Irene Frazier of Middleburg called on Mr. and Mrs. Benny Atkins and family Monday. Saturday afternoon Skipper Mathena of Richmond visited his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Roy Mathena. The younger Mrs. Mathena stopped in Orange to visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Paige Henson and children of Riverton were callers in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Pearl Mills of Huntly called on Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Goranson at their Blue Ridge Mountain home Sunday afternoon, and also stopped to see her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam North. Mr. and Mrs. “Butch” Sealock spent Saturday at Tyson’s Corner. Mr. and Mrs. Ivory Atkins of Flint Hill spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Dud Pullen and family. Mrs. Sherman Williams was a caller in the afternoon.
