Last week’s barn should have been an easy one to identify for it is the barn at Greenfield, the farm of Lloyd Schaeffer located on Route 211 just west of Washington. Mrs. Charles Smoot of Washington was the winner of the free subscription to the Rappahannock News for her correct identification. Others who guessed correctly included regulars, Clifton Clark, W.H. Lyne, Edward M. Clark, Robert Frazier and John R. Eastham, along with Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Mrs. Jean Hunter, Mrs. Ethel Bailey, Charlotte Freeman, Kermit Weakley, Frank R. Timbers and Mrs. D.E. Yowell. Replies to the contest must be mailed or brought to the newspaper office by noon Tuesday. No phone calls, please.
