Stir together dry ingredients. Combine 1/4 cup milk, egg ana corn, duu ail at once to flour mixture, stirring until well blended. If necessary, stir in more milk to make a medium-thick batter. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls into preheated 375° deep fat. Fry until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes, turning once. Drain on absorbent paper.
