Dean's list
Anna Lewis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Lewis of Flint Hill, has been named to the dean’s list of honor students at Hollins College.
To attain this distinction, Miss Lewis compiled at least a 3.4 average on a 4.0 scale for her last semester’s work. A graduate of Madeira School in Greenway, she is a sophomore at the woman’s college. □
Missionary
to speak
Ann Dwyer, Southern Baptist Convention missionary to Gaza, and local resident, will speak at the 11 a.m. worship service of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Sperryville this Sunday, March 26.
A light lunch will be served following the service, at which time there will be an opportunity to meet Miss Dwyer. The public is invited to both the service and the lunch, said the Rey. Ronald Wiley, pastor. □
