A TENTATIVE budget for Rappahannock County of $1,111,740 was approved for publication and subsequent public hearing by the local Board of Supervisors. The action was taken at the May meeting held last Thursday.
The budget, as proposed for the 1972-73 fiscal year, can be met on the present tax levy of $4.10 per $100 assessed value.
The next meeting of the legislative body, June 8, ' will also be scheduled for the budget hearing.
