TWO VEHICLES WERE involved in a collision Saturday evening on Route 211 at the east end of the dual lane section of the highway. One driver was cited for reckless driving.

Swanee Bridgett of Amissville operating a 1972 Pontiac and Charles Irvin Foltz of Shenandoah in a 68 Chevrolet collided as Bridgett attempted to make a U-turn and go west on Route 211, according to investigating officer W. A. Buntin.

Bridgett pulled off on the right shoulder of the road and made a U-turn as Foltz was proceeding in an easterly direction on the dual lane road. Both vehicles came to a standstill across the west bound land nosed into the bank. Bridgett was charged with reckless driving.

Damage to the Chevrolet was set at $1,000 and to the Pontiac at $1,500. Bridgett sustained an injured shoulder and Henry Turner of Amissville, a passenger in the Pontiac, received an injured left knee.
