By IRVIN L. KENYON JR. Game Warden TROUT SEASON, which is now closed in Rappahannock County, will reopen this Saturday morning one hour before sunrise. Starting time will be right around 5 a.m. The North Fork of the Thornton and Piney Branch were restocked Tuesday. The Hughes River, Garth Run, the Rose and Robinson«y Rivers in Madison County have been restocked and will open the same day as Rappahannock. Camping on private property along the trout streams — and remember, it is all private property — is becoming a problem. The landowners who allow their streams to be stocked agree to allow fishing, nothing more. Some people seem to assume that a stream open to public fishing is also open to camping, picnicking, parking any and everywhere, digging worms and various other things. THIS IS NOT what the landowner agreed to. Because the land happens to be a pasture or strip of woods between the stream and roadway it is no less private property and must be respected.
