Dear Editor:

In the letter last week concerning the Laurel Mills bridge, it was stated that children “live and play near busy streets.” This we know but in most cases the speed limit is not 55 miles an hour.

At the meeting with Mr. Skeens, at which I understood our petition was refused because of the bridge being unsafe, I then requested a speed limit for the village.

Then it was stated that green power was the issue. Who is going to benefit (money-wise). This I do not understand.
