The marriage of Miss Mary Merrill Parrish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Lowe Parrish of Viewtown, to Philip Cook Strange, son of Dr. and Mrs. Theodore Boothe Strange of Greenville, Del., took place Saturday, May 6.
The double ring ceremony was performed on the lawn at Thornton River Farms at 12:30 in the afternoon with the families and a small group of close friends attending. Officiating were the Rev. E. Bruton Strange of Tazewell, brother of the bridegroom, and the Rev. Wil-~ liam Hargett of Washington.
