Perry Breeden, Roger Smoot and Laura Pendleton are given the Presidential Physical Fitness Award by assistant principal Richard Witten at Rappahannock County Elementary School. This award results from prowess in seven physical activities as set out by the Fitness Council. Among them are the 600 yard walkrun 50 yard dash, shuttle run, pullup or flexed arm hang, softball throw, standing EJSkd jump and sit ups. Thi award is earned by those registering in the 85th
