Cadet Glenn Colt Hourahan of Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, Pa. has been given the superintendent’s award as Outstanding Plebe of the Year.
He has been an honor roll student, maintained A’s in Military Science and Military Courtesy, been elected to membership in the Honor Legion, earned a certificate in the National Educational Development Tests and received a medal in marksmanship from the National Rifle Association.
Glenn earned a letter in bowling and has been a member of the school polo team.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Hourahan of Mountain Shadows Farm, Washington, Va. who joined him during the weekend for the school’s annual spring festival which featured musical reviews, gymkhanas, band reviews, garrison parades and horsemanship exhibitions.
