Mrs. Jenkins was a native of Rappahannock County, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mortimore Hawkins. She had been a secretary with the Veteran’s Administration in Front Royal.
Surviving with her husband are five sisters: Mrs. William (Agnes) Campbell and Mrs. Ellsworth (Jessie) Donaldson, both of Hillcrest Heights, Md.; Mrs. J. Floyd (Bessie) Brown of Front Royal, Mrs. Russell (Ada) Turner of Arlington and Mrs. Herbert (Elsie) Boswell of Hyatts ville, Md. Three brothers also survive, Earl Hawkins of Front Royal, Woodrow Hawkins of College Park, Md., and Milton Hawkins Jr. of Washington, Va.
Serving as pallbearers were J.W. Fletcher, E.M. Mathews, E.M. Jones, W. R. Welch, Emory Russell, Herbert Foster, Phil Eastham and Daniel Jacobs. □
