Riding and Caroling

THE TRAIL RIDERS of Rappahannock are corraling a full range of sopranos, altos, tenors and basses for this week’s Christmas Caroling Ride through the Big Woods.

We’re all excited about the prospect of Tommy Eastham leading the ride from his home, Ben Venue, at the intersection of Route 729 and 29-211 west. Singing in the saddle will surely warm the spirit if not the toes of those who leave with us at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, December 17. There should be an extra large turnout for this ride, and we’d love to have everyone join us.

Last week’s ride was not cancelled after all, despite the rain an d fog, and by the time a hardy little band of riders rode out, there wefe blue skies to treat the faithful. Let’s not get scared away so easily next time. For questions call Patty Alexander, 675-3307.
