Mrs. Thompson
Funeral services for Mrs. Zelda Grace Thompson, 67, of Viewtown were held at 3:30 Sunday at the Clore Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. J. S. Colvin and the Rev. Larry Tingle. Burial was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson, a retired nurse, died December 6, 1972 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was a native Virginian, daughter of the late John E. Atwell and Laura Baumgader Atwell, and had lived at Viewtown for several years.
Survivors include her husband, Mangus Lee Thompson of Viewtown; a son, John Edwin Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Miss Laura J. Thompson of Glendale, Cal., Mrs. Robert H. McMillan of Ulmers, S.C., and Mrs. Gale A. Mathews of Mission Viejo, Cal.; eight grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Thomas King, Mrs. Herman Tibbs and Mrs. Curtis Neel, all of Ceres, Mrs. Claude Kimberlin of Bluefield, Mrs. E. 0. Tingle of Alexandria and Mrs. Fay Hunter of Maryland; and two brothers, Charles A. Atwell and Alvis A. Atwell, both of Ceres. □
