Flint Hill Rescue Squad reports taking Debbie Smoot from RCHS to Warren Memorial Hospital on December 7. Francis Hogan, Rosetta Hogan and Robert Hogan were taken December 9 from an auto accident 1/2 mile north of Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital. December 10 a call to the home of Abner Russell at Huntly was answered but services were not used. Mrs. Lucy Rutherford was taken from home at Huntly to Warren Memorial Hospital and returned home on December 12.
Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Raymond Mahoney from his home on Route 522 to Warren Memorial Hospital Friday morning.
Sperryville Rescue Squad December 7 brought Lily Hughes from Lynn Care Center in Front Royal to home in Smedley Hollow. The same day Mrs. Hunter Dodson was taken from home at Washington, Va. to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Richard Timbers was taken December 10 from home at Woodville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Amissville Fire Company was called November 30 to a chimney fire at the home of Albert Compton, Laurel Mills. On December 2, this unit responded to a fire on the roadside west of Amissville.
