PUBLIC hearings on the environmental impact of the proposed Vepco powerlines have been set for March 28 in Warrenton, and March 29 in Washington' Rappahannock County.
A REQUEST that Fauquier’s Board of Supervisors allocate “up to $25, 000” for an expert planning engineer, “to counter the Vepco experts,” was “not acted upon” by the Board last Thursday.
The Supervisors held an executive session to discuss “legal matters” in connection with the Vepco suit — involving projected new poweriine corridors — but it was announced following the session that “no action was taken.” Nothings was said about the details.
