BOTH the House and Senate have passed a number of bills on a wide variety of subjects in these closing days of the session.
The bill that I introduced requiring an environmental review by an appropriate state agency before the state itself constructs major facilities has passed the House and is now in the Senate.
My bill which prohibits the State Water Control Board from giving extra credit to a locality for joining a planning district commission in' distributing state grants to abate pollution has passed the House and a similar bill has passed the Senate, so one of these bills is certain to be enacted.
