Amissville fire and rescue squad personnel and guests were well fed and entertained Friday night at the banquet given annually by Amissville Ladies Auxiliary. The ham and turkey dinner with all the proper accompaniments was enjoyed by the approximate hundred people present.
Paul Poling was toastmaster and the Rev. Joseph Stirman gave the invocation and dinner music was provided by Miss Debbie Poe of Amissville at the piano.
Following the meal, local and visiting firemen were introduced and Miss Julie Davis of Viewtown presented vocal selections as she provided her own accompaniment on the guitar.
On behalf of the auxiliary, Mrs. Louise Smith.
