Last Wednesday’s snow apparently prompted a minor traffic, crash on Route 729 south of Estes in which no injuries or changes were incurred.
Larry Quaintance Cubbage of Castleton in a 63 Ford and John Herman Bragg of Rixeyville in a 72 Ford sideswiped on a sharp curve on the slippery road. Damage was . set at $300 to the Cubbage vehicle and at $500 to Braggs, according to Trooper W.A. Buntin.

The Red Cross Bloodmobile unit will visit Rappahannock Coijnty on Wednesday, April 11 from 12 noon until 5:45 p.m. Make a note of this on your calendar right now so you’ll be there.
A good turn out of donors is necessary to assure the continued participation of Rappahannock in the blood program. It is imperative that residents in the county contribute blood in order to receive blood when needed. It is the unexpected illness or accident for ,which the American Red Cross stands ready, but can only do so with the aid of volunteers. To receive, you must give so keep this date in mind and do your share.
