THE 82 traffic deaths so far recorded for February 1973, cut heavily into the reduction of 13 deaths attained in January, Colonel H, W. Burgess, Superintendent of State Police, reports.
He said that 82 deaths have been recorded for February, as against 74 for February 1972, and that the total is certain to increase due to late reports and deaths of persons now carried as injured. The year's total so far is 154, or five below the 159 for the same period of last year. Pedestrian deaths are down from 32 to 18. ^ V Colonel Burgess said the February rise rs difficult to explain.
