Avid deer hunters from the Flint Hill area were successful the.first day of hunting season. According to M. R. Bradford at the checking station, the first day’s take there was 17. Three hunters with their deer are Robert Ramey and Gavor Foster, left and right, of Flint Hill and Carroll Smith of Springfield, center.
