Clifford Charles Woodard Jr. of Washington driving a 68 Rambler, skidded off the right shoulder of the highway into a 73 Ford pickup owned by Herbert B. Smoot, also of Washington. The Smoot truck was parked in front of Hampton Inn.

Damage to the truck was set at $200 and to the car at $300. Woodard was charged with reckless driving, said Trooper Buntin.

An Arlington motorist ran off the highway, struck a guard rail and over turned near Panorama Sunday. Paul Vincent Milde driving a 71 Pontiac, escaped injury but damage to his car was estimated at $1500. The crash occurred about 2:20, said the officer.□
