JACK BADNEY adds: ‘‘A recent visit to Flint Hill showed many changes. I was sad to see the old school building fallen to disrepair. Also, Rector’s Store has apparently been closed for a number of years. I can’t really see how the new bank building adds to the town character, as I remember it.

“And, it hurts to think that the old Carey place seems beyond repair.

“However, Flint Hill is still Flint Hill, Hopefully, through the work of its fine citizens, the community spirit will remain high as it has for well over a hundred years...”
